We are thankful that Ben and Fay live in London to allow us an overnight stop(free!) each end of our travels. Also a great excuse to see their adorable miniature schnauzer Engels!
This year we hope to have a relatively quiet New Years Eve to ready ourselves for our 1st of several long haul flights....
A proviso of travelling so far was that we have limited flying times to no more than approximately 12 hours a flight - which also means we get to see more places!
Carol has had much pleasure researching and planning accommodation and various excursions - we look forward to sharing our experiences via this blog. We hope to post weekly as previous blogs - wi-fi access depending.
We arranged our round the world flight tickets via Travel Nation and can recommend them for their excellent service - thank you David!
So here we are am 1st Jan ready to go - with matching Tilley Hats ...... let the adventure begin!
Good luck.
