So we used to go to the Burton Agnes Jazz and Blues Festival when we lived in East Yorkshire as it was just round the corner but haven’t been for a while having 1) sold our camper and 2) moved to Devon.
What can I say? If you are lucky and early enough to get a ticket - get one.
It’s held in the grounds of a minor stately home and the owner, Simon Cunliffe-Lister, is an all round good guy, passionate about music and local bands and very very generously opens his house and grounds for a gentile music festival. The event is a true gem.
